Hyde Park Village Art Fair Kicks Off the Fall Season

The Hyde Park Village Art Fair returns to the Tampa Bay, FL area this weekend for the 23rd year in a row where over 150 artists will have their unique pieces of art on display and for sale. Admission is free and open to the public.

Hyde Park Village welcomes back its signature fall art festival, the first major outdoor art event of the season in the Tampa Bay Area, October 27 - 28, 2012. The show will feature 150 of the finest artists from as many as 30 different states as well as top local talent. The artistic media represented at this popular two-day juried art show include paintings, sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage, and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $30,000 metal sculptures. Admission is free and open to the public.

“Our shows promise an eclectic mix of artwork by a variety of leading artists who work in different media,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “All of the artwork is original and handmade in America.”

The artists are juried by an independent panel of expert judges and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All artists are present for the duration of the show available to discuss their art, inspiration and techniques.

The artists’ professional white-tented display booths will be located along the tree-lined streets of this trendy downtown Tampa area with its brick courtyards and fountains. The 23rd Annual Hyde Park Village Art Fair makes the arts accessible to a broad audience. The event appeals to of all ages including families, art enthusiasts and collectors looking to add to their collections.
