Salt Lake City, UT, October 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The inaugural race of the Harvest Halloween Half is set for October 27th. Set at scenic Black Island Farms, in Sycracuse, UT, the race will include a half marathon, a 5-miler, and a free children’s one-mile run. TNT Running has partnered with Splore and the race will be supporting Splore’s accessible outdoor adventures.

Races begin at 8:30am on Saturday and will include finisher medals, awards, post drinks and food, a drawing and a costume contest. Race director Andrew Sturgell commented, “This race is going to be great because there will be something for every member of the family to enjoy.”

Splore was chosen as the charity for this event because of their passion for getting people of all abilities on outdoor adventures. “Splore and TNT Running are both very active in their search to enable families to enjoy the outdoors together.” For every person that volunteers at the Harvest Halloween Half, TNT Running will be donating $10 to Splore.

All runners and their immediate families get free entrance into Black Island Farms. The activities include a 28-acre corn maze, cow train, bounce house, giant slide, pig races, a corn box, grain chute slide, and more. This family friendly event is designed to be fun for everyone.
