Opening of Michelle Danner Los Angeles Acting School and New York Acting School

Santa Monica, CA, October 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Michelle Danner Acting School in Los Angeles is expanding into New York with the opening of a new conservatory, which will offer a six and twelve-month Well Rounded Actor’s Training Intensive.

The program at the Michelle Danner Acting School includes The Golden Box for actors. This world-class acting intensive is a two-day workshop that teaches the actor how to create fleshed-out and interesting characters through an intense and emotional technique. Exercises and lectures demonstrate the building of provocative, complex back stories and open the actor’s instrument emotionally. Also explained is how to find emotional triggers and psychological gestures that can be used to augment your work. Designed to benefit both beginners and seasoned actors, the class explains in detail the technique used at the New York school of acting.

Other classes at the school include Scene Study Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced, Improve Workout, Casting Director Workshops, Auditioning for Film & Television: On-Camera, and Voice Intensives Level 1 & Level 2. Students will also familiarize themselves with the business of acting with Breaking into the Industry, and acting workshops for those aspiring to be acting professionals.
