)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com/), has announced that on Thursday, Nov. 1 The Daily Planet Café, the company’s newest restaurant in downtown Raleigh, will host a science trivia night. Trivia, which will begin at 7 p.m., will include a mix of science-based fact questions as well as current news, pop culture and scientific discoveries. Located in the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, The Daily Planet Café works to incorporate science into majority of its events. Trivia night will be a reoccurring event for The Daily Planet Café and will be held the first Thursday of every month.
“Local trivia nights have grown in popularity over the last few years, but The Daily Planet Café is taking trivia up one more notch with its focus on science,” said Ogan. “The event will be a great opportunity to enjoy downtown Raleigh with friends and compete for prizes and as always, bragging rights. We look forward to seeing everyone and figuring just who has the most scientific brain.”
