A simple-to-use Wifi sensor for the Arduino now selling at Dexter Industries website.

Stafford, VA, November 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- After months of software and hardware development, Dexter Industries releases its Wifi shield for the Arduino system.

The Dexter Industries Arduino connects to the Internet and other wireless devices as well. The sensor can communicate information from an Arduino to web browsers, TCP clients, WIFI enable devices, and even popular websites, such as Twitter.

The Shield comes with an extensive library of examples to get users and web-developers started on communicating over the internet quickly. With a well-developed library of functions, users can setup web-pages that display data, gather information from the web, and access popular web services such as Twitter and Cosm.

The WiFi shield supports TCP communications, HTTP communications, UDP communications, Adhoc networks, WEP networks, WPA networks, and WPA2 networks.

The Shield is compatible with Arduino Uno, Arduino Leonardo, and Arduino Mega 2560.
