From October 4 to 5, the International Forum and Exhibition "Professional Mobile Radio Communications" (PMR Forum) was held in Moscow, Russia. Moscow, Russia, November 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- From October 4 to 5, the International Forum and Exhibition "Professional Mobile Radio Communications" (PMR Forum) was held in Moscow, Russia. Coming to its fifth year, the PMR Forum has become a pre-eminent event for the PMR industry, and key topics were addressed at the forum with delegates from professional radio operators, system integrators, vendors and end users, as well as representatives of governments, regulators and the media.

As the digital migration is making inroads and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics is approaching, this year’s PMR Forum attracted a large number of government and industry users, including Russian Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Emergency, Ministry of Defense, railway companies, Oil & Gas corporations, communications research institutions and many other agencies. The delegates showed great interests in the development and application of major digital standards, and had heated discussions on communication solutions for public safety, railway, energy, data transmission, GLONASS and security of Sochi Winter Olympics.
