Anti-Aging Surgeons to Put Theory Into Practice at Live Surgery Workshop at the Upcoming ICAAM Middle East 2012

International Congress in Aesthetic, Anti-Aging Medicine & Medical Spa (ICAAM Middle East) to be held in Dubai for 5th year.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Guest surgeons Dr. Patrick Tonnard of Belgium and Dr. Hussein Ali Khan from the USA will be performing a world renowned face-lifting technique and will provide a practical demonstration of the MACS-Facelift line as one of the many practical live sessions at the upcoming International Congress in Aesthetic, Anti-Aging Medicine & Medical Spa (ICAAM Middle East), which will open on Friday 23rd November and continue for a second day on Saturday 24th November at the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa in Dubai.

Unique for this region, the live surgeries will be performed from 7:00am to 1:00pm at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital on both days of the event, and for the first time will be open to surgeons practicing in the region. Other live surgeries sessions include rhinoplasty and breast augmentation.

People spend a lot of money each year in the quest of maintaining a youthful and beautiful appearance. According to an infographic posted on TermLifeInsurance.org, the value of the anti-aging industry in 2011 was estimated at $80 billion, and is set to reach $114 billion by the year 2015 if current trends continue.

“ICAAM Middle East is the platform where physicians will have the opportunity to learn about the latest techniques and updates in anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, aesthetic dermatology and aesthetic surgery. The greatest challenge that anti-aging, aesthetic surgeons and practitioners face today is staying current with the dynamic advances in medical procedures and technologies in these medical fields. It is extremely essential for these practitioners and surgeons to constantly remain educated and well trained in all up-to-date practices and technology in the anti-aging arena in order to deliver the most effective treatments,” highlighted Christophe Luino, Managing Director, EuroMediCom.

The aesthetic dermatology program at ICAAM Middle East 2012 will consist of practical sessions demonstrating the latest hair transplantation techniques, skin illuminating techniques for Arab skin, a laser session and two practical sessions along with video demonstrations on injectables namely botulinum toxin, and fillers.

ICAAM Middle East 2012, organized by EuroMediCom (organisers of the Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress) and Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions (organisers of Arab Health), is dedicated to all aspects of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine and includes a clinical CME-accredited congress programme featuring over 30 international and regional speakers and an exhibition featuring latest products and technologies from 20 international companies in the anti-aging field. These include Labdom, Amico, Bader, Sultan & Brothers Co., Cool Look Aesthetic, Ion Genius and Leader Healthcare, to name a few.

According to Mr. Emad Al Zaben, General Manager, Bader, Sultan & Brothers Co., “The Middle East market is extremely important to our products and services because of the high purchasing power in this market on one hand and the desire for medical wellness on the other. At ICAAM Middle East we will be primarily launching our latest introductions; Mediostar Next & TattooStar by Asclepion.”

Trade visitors have free access to the exhibition on both days and can register on-site. For more information on ICAAM Middle East, please call +971 4 407 2743 or visit www.antiagingme.com.
