Krav Maga of Orange County’s Mitch Markowitz Receives 3rd Degree Black Belt

Krav Maga Orange County announces founder, Mitch Markowitz, receives his 3rd degree black belt in Krav Maga.

Irvine, CA, November 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Founder and instructor Mitch Markowitz has successfully completed training and assessment to achieve his 3rd degree black belt. KMOC continues to strive for providing the highest quality training, and Mitch exemplifies this core value. All KMOC instructors continuously train in order to bring the best instruction available to the studio.

Mitch began his martial arts training at age seven, training and competing in Judo tournaments throughout Southern California until age 13. He is a graduate of the School for Instructors at the Wingate Institute for Martial Arts Education. Mitch holds the rank of Shodan in Aikido and is an instructor with the Mission Aikido dojo. In addition to Judo, Krav Maga and Aikido, Mitch has experience in Ninjitsu, Jujitsu, Boxing and Kali.

Mitch began his Krav Maga training in 1985 with the US Chief Instructor Darren Levine. He received his black belt and instructor certifications from Darren Levine and the Israeli Chief Instructor Eyal Yanilov. Mitch began teaching in 1988 at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles. In 1992, Mitch co-founded Krav Maga of Orange County with Michael Leifer and in 2009 he co-founded the Krav Maga Martial Arts and Training Center in Mission Viejo.

Few schools in the US have as many highly trained instructors as Krav Maga of Orange County. With seven black belt and higher instructors, every student walking through KMOC’s doors has direct access to some of the most highly trained Krav Maga practitioners in Orange County.

Krav Maga Orange County has been providing quality training in Southern California since 1992 and has taught thousands of individuals throughout Orange County. The KMOC instructor staff has over 130 years of combined teaching experience in Krav Maga and our program is the only one with seven Black Belt Level Instructors in the County. Our mission is to provide the highest level of training to our students by teaching the most current techniques for real life situations and field scenarios.
