GChat Reaffirms Its Dedication to World Class Video Chat Software with a New Brand Identity

GChat announces its new company name and domain: changes reflecting the company's ongoing progression to a unified brand strategy, as its video chat software heads for a major upgrade.

Portsmouth, United Kingdom, December 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In the early 2000s, when cloud based chat services for individuals and SMEs were all but ether, GChat saw a great opportunity to enter what would become a thriving and competitive market. The strategy paid off. Fast track to present, and GChat is still a dominant provider of intuitive, integrated and standalone, communication tools which empower individuals, hobbyist communities, virtual classrooms, businesses, and any other type of enterprise in between. In fact, the paradigm of unified video, voice and rich text interaction, live and on demand, anywhere and across computing platforms, has taken off at an exponential rate - faster than anyone could have anticipated.

Starting with a strong core product - a feature complete virtual world solution with interactive 3D graphics - the company radiated its portfolio outwards to encompass additional applications, components and dedicated services, to best target different segments of its market. At present, GChat is leading with its Web Messenger and Video Chat offerings, alongside Virtual World, and all three key products are being actively developed and updated.

These solutions follow the mantra of uncompromising innovation, affordability and focused design. The software has been developed for the global market from the start. It supports multiple languages in its interface and back-end administration tools, projecting the company's long-standing international ethos. GChat tops it all up with an unparalleled, expert installation and integration, technical support and chat hosting services.

However, like with all rapid growth, there comes a point where reflection is necessary to go further. The company underwent a review process of its entire business structure during the autumn quarter of 2012, which lead to a carefully managed, step-wise refinement of its brand. The process began with the name itself - GChat - which was conceived to be short, memorable and indicative of the core business. The new name has been incorporated with the view to firmly associate it with all offered products in the near future, specifically focusing on video chat.

The associated domain has also changed accordingly to GChat.com, while the dedicated staff team is busy bringing up the company nomenclature, official documentation and website content to reflect the latest alterations. A redesigned logo has been added to the company's video chat already, with the rest of the product portfolio to follow as it receives latest updates throughout the scheduled development cycle. The idea here is to prominently feature the company name in the motif of the design, while visually illustrating the software function through the accompanying icon. This scheme is easy to reference and identify, and will grow the new brand's visibility.

Speaking of GChat video chat software, it has received the greatest attention with an updated product page, putting in the groundwork for a major new software version scheduled for a public demo in a not so distant future. Brand new FAQ and features list pages were also created, following popular demand. Licensing information and terms and conditions related to this product are being moved into a dedicated customers portal section, installer script and relevant homepage category. Plus the feature highlights are now available for a bird's eye overview of the whole package.

The improved GChat video chat software will feature an upgraded administration panel, which was re-envisioned from scratch, even greater client interface flexibility, new modular widget framework, and a myriad more minor feature additions, which nonetheless will make a great difference to the company's clients. Furthermore, it's almost certain that the latest framework improvements will lead to an eventual annexing of the vital mobile market presence to what is an already very inclusive cross-platform support record.

Majid Khosravi, Managing Director, described the overriding company mood as that of, "A time of great, positive change, continued product innovation and inescapable optimism about the future for the business and its new and returning customers." Heading into the festive season, the official GChat blog is launching to chart company progress, development insights and general company information; to keep the customer base up-to-date, as GChat seeks to maintain and improve upon its world leading position.
