Bicycle Art Salon to Host BSpoke Tailor Dec. 20 in Oakland, CA

The Bicycle Art Salon (BAS) is proud to announce special guest, Nan Eastep, bicycle fashion designer and owner of BSpoke Tailor (http://bspoketailor.com/) 12/20/2012 at 7pm in Oakland, CA. The BAS is a monthly discussion group on the subject(s) of art, film, music, bicycles and more, at the home and studio of Justine and Slimm Buick (1600 E. 31st Street, Oakland, CA 94602). They are held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-10pm. RSVP required.

Oakland, CA, December 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Bicycle Art Salon (BAS) is proud to announce special guest, Nan Eastep, bicycle fashion designer and owner of BSpoke Tailor (http://bspoketailor.com/) 12/20/2012 at 7pm in Oakland, CA. The BAS is a monthly discussion group on the subject(s) of art, film, music, bicycles and more, at the home and studio of Justine and Slimm Buick (1600 E. 31st Street, Oakland, CA 94602). They are held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-10pm. Attendance is by invitation only, which can be requested by emailing Slimm@SlimmBuick.com or by phone or text to 510-230-8270.

The BAS will be highlighting an artist, performer or builder each month. Next up, Nan Eastep will be featured and will be bring smaller items she makes, like wool arm warmers, helmet liners and underwear for sale. Eastep recently received notice she was granted a United States Patent for her Cycling Vestpack and will be sharing her story on that journey as well.

The BAS is hosted by Slimm Buick, DJ, performer, artist and bicycle builder, famous for his wacky Art Bikes, and his wife, Justine tenZeldam, a writer and digital marketing consultant. Buick also rents art bikes as props for movies and theater, or as “interactive decoration” for for special events. These Art Bike creations have been in books, documentaries such as Wild Wheels (Discovery Channel), and movies like Sony Pictures' Rent.
