Hermitage Antiques, Ltd. is Closing Doors on December 31st After Nearly 15 Years

Dallas, TX, December 05, 2012 --( After nearly 15 years, iconic designer destination, Hermitage Antiques, Ltd., has chosen to close its gallery at 1313 Slocum Street in the Dallas Design District. Interior Designers and connoisseurs from all over the city, state, country and even the world have considered Hermitage in Dallas to be a prime importer of hand selected European antiques, art, furniture, lighting, sculpture, accessories and curiosities from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Steve Brock, Owner, explains, “ It’s been an incredible run. Not only have we been blessed with a great business, we have made friends from all over the world. However, at this time in our lives we want to focus on other areas of interest, so between now and the end of the year, it has been decided that Hermitage will wind down and completely liquidate the 100 or so remaining treasures. We have priced everything at or below landing price to meet our end-of-year target date and there are now less than 30 days left!”

Over the years, not only has Hermitage been a source of antiques, the 5200 square foot gallery has been a noted venue for private art, antique and charitable events.

Many notable Dallas designers have stopped in to say their “Good Byes.” Hermitage has always had a knack for offering the most incredible one-of-a-kind items, the level of quality and craftsmanship has been impeccable and of the highest caliber. The design industry and all the valued clients have expressed their kind sentiments and said that they will certainly miss Hermitage.

Steve continued, “I want to say thank you to all the loyal customers and friends who have supported Hermitage over the many years. The gallery doors may be closing, but we are not going away. Who knows what the next great adventure will be!”
