“Bigfoot’s Wild Weekend” – When skeptical tabloid reporter Harlan James (Chase Carter) is given the assignment of investigating a string of encounters involving Bigfoot (portrayed by D.T. Carney, “Dead Things”), he sets out on an extraordinary adventure. After talking to a few witnesses, Harlan soon learns that Bigfoot isn’t a scary monster but rather a beer-drinking, panty-stealing party animal. But Harlan isn’t the only one trying to track down the world’s most elusive creature; he’ll have to compete with Chester Scroggins (Ron Blackwell, “Showboys”), a hillbilly hell-bent on revenge, as well as a group of rival hunters looking to claim a bounty. With the aid of a local sheriff (David Novak, “Super Shark”) and a beautiful television reporter (Nicole Parsneau), Harlan sets out to get to the heart of the story before it’s too late. Skewering everything from tabloid trash to small-town intrigue, “Bigfoot’s Wild Weekend” is a crazy off-the-wall comedy filled with beer, babes, and Bigfoot. Catalog number: BAY355, UPC: 874482003558, $19.99 srp, Street Date February 12, 2013, prebook January 8, 2012.
“Monster from Bikini Beach” – The girls of Bikini Beach, desperate for a summer of sex, sand, and rock & roll, discover a huge reptilian monster lurking just off shore. This is a wild, sexy sci-fi creature feature that takes the best of the classic 1950’s drive-In movies and mashes them with today’s retro rockabilly club scene. This fun flick has it all: twangy guitars, leggy bikini clad (and un-clad) beauties, and a scaly monster that wants to destroy them. It's a cool, retro Dance Party from Hell. Also features the original coming attractions trailer. Catalog number: RME2126, UPC: 802993212602, $14.99 srp, Street Date February 26, 2013, prebook January 22, 2012.
“I, Marquis DeSade” – Lost for almost 50 years, this ultra-rare film by director Richard Hilliard (“Violent Midnight,” “The Horror of Party Beach”) was recently rediscovered in a Swedish film vault and is presented here for the first time on DVD. It spins the tale of a writer, obsessed with the Marquis De Sade, who begins to live out De Sade's violent sexual fantasies. The cast features the spectacular Babette Bardot (Russ Meyer's “Mondo Topless”) and a host of assorted lovelies. This edition also contains the bonus featurette, “Hollywood Beauties,” a Nudie Cutie from a more innocent time. Catalog number: RME2127, UPC: 802993212701, $19.99 srp, Street Date February 26, 2013, prebook January 22, 2012.
