Sponsor a Homeless Pet This Holiday -- Great Gift Idea for Animal Lovers

Your contribution in a loved one’s name will help provide shelter, food, and veterinary care for the pet of your choice. Purchase a sponsorship by Monday, Dec. 17, and you’ll receive a sponsorship certificate, the animal’s story, and other gift items in time for Christmas.

There are eight dogs and cats available for the holiday sponsorship program, allowing you to pick the face and story that will win the hearts of those on your list. Just visit austinhumanesociety.org to browse animals up for sponsorship.

AHS offers two Sponsor-a-Pet packages:

The Gold Package: $100

Sponsorship Certificate: A printed confirmation of the live-saving gift.
Animal's Story: A letter describing the animal the gift recipient is sponsoring.
2013 AHS Alumni Calendar: 13-month calendar featuring AHS alumni animals.
AHS Fire Decal: A window decal designed to alert rescue workers to the pets in your home.
Adoption Update: An email notifying the recipient when the sponsored pet gets adopted.

The Silver Package: $50
Sponsorship Certificate: An emailed confirmation of the live-saving gift.
Animal's Story: An emailed description of the animal the gift recipient is sponsoring.
Adoption Update: An email notifying the recipient when the sponsored pet gets adopted.

At both levels, your gift recipient will receive a quarterly newsletter and weekly e-newsletter with updates about the work of AHS.
