Mammen Mathew is a Padma Shri award winner hailing from South India. The writer did his graduation and post graduation from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi. He joined Times of India as an intern and then went on to join Manorama as a correspondent. He has also worked at Western Mail in UK, The Sunday Times in London. He became the resident Chief Editor of Manorama in the year 1970 and in 1980 he became the General Managing Editor of Monorama Company in Kottayam, Kerala. He is now the editor and MD of Manorama Company along with being the first Indian Director trustee for a 150 year old company called Thomson Reuters.
