Arrowhead Grill Rings in 2013 with a Tasty Kobe Steak Celebration

Glendale, AZ, December 15, 2012 --( Arrowhead Grill is celebrating the arrival of 2013 by offering a specially prepared end-of-the-year dinner by Chef Charles Schwerd.

For just $59.99, patrons can dine in style on New Year’s Eve, delighting their taste buds with an 8-ounce New York Strip Kobe steak from Schwerd’s private collection and a 4-ounce Lobster Tail. The entree also comes with the choice of a side, with Arrowhead Grill’s mac and cheese, creamed corn, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes or cheese grits all offered. For starters, patrons will be able to choose from a chilled chopped, Caesar or Arrowhead Grill House salad. Dessert is available for an additional charge.

But the New York Strip Kobe steak is the star and a rare treat at that, according to Schwerd.

“This is the real deal Kobe beef that everyone desires the most,” Schwerd said. “The steak literally melts in your mouth.”

Schwerd certainly knows about steaks. His Delmonico recipe is the only authentic version served in Arizona. Schwerd said chefs for years disagreed about how to prepare the original Delmonico steak until he came across the original recipe in The Epicurean, a complete book on the culinary arts written by Ranhofer. Arrowhead Grill’s steak is based on that recipe.

“Whatever dish you choose, you can’t go wrong celebrating the New Year with an Arrowhead Grill choice cut of beef,” Schwerd said.
