CyberMatrix Timesheets Version 5 Released

CyberMatrix has released version 5 of CyberMatrix Timesheets, its employee time sheet entry application for Windows. New features include a new Timesheets Web Enterprise edition, daily and bi-weekly time sheet entry, improved billing and Unicode support.

Vernon, Canada, December 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- CyberMatrix has released version 5 of CyberMatrix Timesheets, an easy to use employee time sheet entry application for Windows. Timesheets version 5 contains several important improvements. The most significant change in version 5 is the new Timesheets Web Enterprise edition. Now the web software can connect to any large database server and work together with the Enterprise desktop edition. In addition to weekly and monthly entry, Timesheets can now also handle daily and bi-weekly time sheet entry. The new billing module provides a simpler way to bill clients for time and expenses. Full Unicode support was added to allow translations of all multi-byte languages such as Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

Timesheets has six different editions to accommodate the needs of various customer types. Timesheets comes in Standard, Client/Server, Enterprise, Web and CE editions. The Standard, Client/Server and Enterprise editions have a simple intuitive graphical interface. While the Standard edition can be used with multiple users over a network, the Client/Server and Enterprise editions are better suited for large numbers of users. Only the Enterprise editions can be scaled up to handle massive user loads. Timesheets Enterprise integrates with virtually any large database server, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL. The Client/Server, Enterprise and Web editions can be used with multiple users accessing employee time data over the company intranet or even the Internet. Timesheets Web allows employee time data to be accessed from any web browser on virtually any operating system, not just Windows. Timesheets CE runs on hand-held computers running Windows CE or Windows Mobile.

Timesheets runs on Windows ME, XP, 2003 server, Vista and Windows 7. System requirements: 512 MB RAM and 30 MB hard disk space. Timesheets Client/Server and Timesheets Web work best with a dedicated XP, 2003 server, Vista, 2008 Server or Windows 7 server with 1 GB RAM and power backup to host the to host the Timesheets server application. Timesheets Enterprise requires a database server such as Microsoft SQL server, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Timesheets Web client machines require only a web browser. Timesheets CE requires a hand-held device running Windows Mobile.

Timesheets Standard, Web and Web Enterprise costs $55 (US) for a single-user license, Timesheets C/S and Enterprise costs $75 (US) for a single license. Timesheets CE cost $20 for a single license.
