)-- Members of the Raleigh-based Sound Cartel plan a fundraiser to support victims of Hurricane Sandy, Friday, December 21st, 2012 at Mosaic Wine Lounge, 517 West Jones St. Doors open at 9:00 PM. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Red Cross, to benefit the relief effort after Hurricane Sandy.
“Sound Cartel is a house music promotional group that was founded with social consciousness in mind,” said Cartel co-founder Nogui Aramburo. “Our previous musical collaborations successfully raised money for causes like Heels for Haiti at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Annual Food Drives, and The Jade City Pharaoh (NPR). We are blessed to have a wide base of support to make this event possible.”
