)-- Goalvator, a new weight loss app is now available on iTunes. This App allows the user to take pictures of their food then record how they feel throughout the day. You can also track your exercise activity. The purpose of Goalvator is to show the user the correlation between their activity level and food consumption and how they feel. “By taking the focus off of calories, and refocusing on how your body actually feels and by having a visual record of what you ate that day on a single picture wall, the user is better able to readjust their diet and lose weight,” stated Jason Swenk, one of the main developers of the application.
Goalvator also allows the user to create goals or milestones, such as weight loss or level of exercise. You can share these goals, along with pictures of what you eat, with friends, who are allowed to comment on your progress. “One of the great things about this App is it creates a community of the user’s choice. Friends and family can post words of encouragement after you walk a mile. Or can hold you accountable for that second bowl of ice cream when you complain you don’t feel good. It is really a great way to get the support you need any time, any where,” stated Jason Swenk.
Goalvator allows instant sharing on Facebook and Twitter, and is compatible with first generation, 3GS, 4, 4GS, and iPhone5. There is no limitations on uploads or interactions. It is currently available on iTunes for free.
