California author releases new magical adventure novel, Jenny and the Hummingbird Faeries. This new work is a fantasy chapter book for preteens and teen readers featuring the 12-year-old tomboy Jenny, who befriends the magical Hummingbird Faeries of Catalina Island.

About the Author:
S.R. Zales was born in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of five he arrived by train in California where he now resides. A graduate of Loyola University his greatest experience was duplicating Huck Finn's raft adventure on the Mississippi River. Work, marriage, two children and numerous pet cats occupied his life as he wrote every day. He developed this book with his six grandchildren and twelve great nieces and nephews in mind. He is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBW), The Independent Writers of Southern California, and the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society (Glaws).
