)-- Actress and Acting Coach Elle Sloboda will be in Dubai to conduct the Acting workshops of the Manhattan Film Academy New York this month at ECMIT, Dubai. The workshops are scheduled to be held from the 13th Jan to 17th January, 6 pm to 10 pm on all days. This is an initiative of new age brand marketing consultancy ISD Global, Dubai.
Sloboda is a graduate of the legendary Actor's Studio in New York City; whose alumni include: Marlon Brando, James Dean, Marylyn Monroe, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino, among other renowned actors. Her stage and screen acting career spans several countries across three continents: including the US, Australia, and Poland. She will be conducting the Acting workshop at ECMIT in Dubai. The workshop will cover topics including On Camera and On Stage Acting Techniques, The Method vs. the Classical style of Acting and involve a lot of basic techniques and exercises including Meisner Training: exercises designed to help students be & stay in contact with a scene partner, learn to work moment to moment, understand public solitude, and learn to follow one’s impulses etc all of which will immensely help participants as they set out to pursue Acting as a career option or purely from a hobby perspective.

Robert is also the Professor of Film at the City University of New York and has several films to his credit including three feature films, currently in distribution: Match (Poland), Nobody's Perfect (U.S.), and Dubai: A City of Dreams (U.S.), as well as sixteen short fiction films and short documentaries. His work has been distributed internationally in over twenty countries across four continents as well as in the U.S., including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
