)-- For several years leaders at the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) have worked hard to improve service for nearly 90,000 students. In 2010 an internal review revealed a need for process improvement in Financial Aid. In 2011 DCCCD partnered with Global for a solution that streamlined document collection and manual review which, previously, caused delays of up to 8 weeks in the Financial Aid awarding process. Almost immediately file review turnaround during peak season dropped from 6-8 weeks to less than five days. Now 18 months since implementation, DCCCD is receiving recognition in higher education for its achievements.
