Bringing back the classics with a performance on January 12th with special guest violinist Elmar Oliveira!

Long Beach, CA, January 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra‘s (LBSO) Balcony Club kicks off the new year with first-class talent, elegant music, drink specials, and affordable pricing for all. Come sooth your busy days with a night out to the LBSO’s relaxing musical venture in the heart of downtown Long Beach. Located at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, the Terrace Theater’s magnificent balcony oversees an enticing stage of talent and musical vibrations.

The Balcony Club is a new take on the classics to inspire and attract a younger generation of music- goers. A sociable set up, bar, and drink specials is sure to create a casual and friendly environment that’s perfect for networking and socializing.

“Going to a Classics concert doesn’t have to be a formal or expensive affair,” said Rick Berry, LBSO Director of Marketing. “The Balcony Club is a great way for people to check out our orchestra without some of the barriers that people may have perceived in the past. The price is right and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Plus, the music actually sounds best from the Balcony,” Berry added.

The classic program fused with new settings and elements gives the Balcony Club a vibrant feel and a new take on a classical night out.

The LBSO Balcony Club will continue on Saturday, January 12th, where music director Enrique Arturo Diemecke will conduct Rossini’s Barber of Seville: Overture, Saint-Saëns' Violin Concerto No. 3 featuring Elmar Oliveira, and Debussy's Nocturnes and La Mer.
