Pawfriendly Landscapes Featured on Lowe's for Pro's

Golden, CO, July 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Lowe's for Pro's approached Pawfriendly Landscapes, Inc. for an article to be featured on their website because they needed pet friendly landscape advice for their consumers. The Lowe's representative, Ms. Debbie McClung, informed the owner of Pawfriendly Landscapes, Elizabeth Bublitz, that she would like to feature her company because they were the only pet friendly landscape company.

Ms. Bublitz wrote an article for Lowe's for Pro's which is called, "Animal-Friendly Landscapes." In it, she discusses creating a safe and attractive landscape for pets and their owners. Ms. Bublitz also discusses how she incorporates the client's wants and needs along with the pets' habits to create an economical, innovative, safe and easy to maintain backyard. Ms. Bublitz says, "(We) try not to fight an animals' habits, but them in a creative way to design a pet-friendly backyard," she continues by stating, "the goat is to create a wonderful retreat for both the client and the animal, but we have to be realistic and respect both parties in order to achieve their perfect space."

The article also lists common toxic plants such as lilies, Azalea, Oleander, Cyclamen, Yew, Tulips, among others. Pawfriendly Landscapes does not use toxic plants in their landscapes as well as ornamental grasses since dogs eat them. Pawfriendly Landscapes also eliminates bee attracting plants, such as Blue Mist Spirea and Russian Sage since bee stings are also a problem for pets.
