will celebrate 3 years with the industry on January 27th, at the historical Aztlan Theater in downtown Denver, company representatives announced. The cannabis tech agency is planning a night of music, “meds” for patients, and fun, climaxing with a giant medicated birthday cake and performance by special “surprise” guests.
Three years of development have helped solidify Cannapages as a driving brand in Colorado’s medical cannabis market, known for their signature magazine directories, business advice and online specials. The birthday bash is sponsored by Culture Magazine, along with several other media outlets and patient outreach groups. Related businesses of any kind are encouraged to contact the editors immediately to donate products for giveaways.
“We ultimately decided--especially with Amendment 64’s passing--that we had to completely top last year’s legendary celebration,” said company spokesman Rolv Harris. “Last year’s cake, for instance, was big enough for 200 people--so this year, we’re going to double it, thanks to our friends at (local edibles kitchen) Bakked. The gift bags will be bigger and better, the sponsors more numerous, and the performances, epic. This is all about the fans.”
Harris added that the Cannapages staff hopes to launch new endeavors with both attendees and vendors. “We’ve become established in several magazines this year, political campaigns and industry groups,” he said. “On the 27th, we hope to unveil new initiatives with several of these partners, in hopes of taking the cannabis community to new levels.”
The event runs 6PM - Midnight and is hosted by Meet And Greet, a local networking group; traditionally local dispensaries have donated products for patients to sample free with Colorado State-issued medical marijuana “red cards.” Non-patients over 21 are still invited to attend, but must RSVP to email@example.com prior to the event.
