"My Broken Heart Speaks" - New Publication from WingSpan Press

The curative power of poetry helps a family cope with a tragic loss.

St Louis, MO, January 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer L Sanders has experienced the greatest loss a mother can face-the death of a child. She attempts to heal herself and her family through her poetry, a collection of verses that tell us of her loss, her grief and her faith.

The book is aptly subtitled “Dealing with Life in Difficult and Tragic Times: a true testimony to God.”

Her hope is that in sharing her faith in God and his divine plan, she may help others dealing with the loss of a treasured loved one.

Her son Mikee, lost in a tragic sporting accident, serves as her inspiration for this creative effort. “I’ve completed one book of poetry,” says Sanders, “but continue to write my journey.”

Jennifer’s childhood was shadowed by her parents' divorce when she was three years old and her mother’s death when she was twelve. Despite these challenges, she grew up with a strong faith and love of family.

Jennifer and her husband live along the Current River, and rejoice in the time spent with their first grandchild.
