NOLAJazzToronto and Grossman's Tavern Present: Jazz Legend to be Celebrated the "Kid Bastien Forever Weekend" at Grossman’s

Toronto, Canada, January 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NOLAJazzToronto, Grossman's Tavern and Toronto musicians pay tribute to one of the legends of New Orleans Jazz, Cliff “Kid” Bastien, at famed live music venue Grossman’s Tavern on the 10th anniversary of his passing.

Of his friend and bandmate, Chuck Clarke has said, "Over the years, many musicians and potential musicians fell under the spell of Kid Bastien, and through him, under the spell of New Orleans jazz. In addition to being a musical mentor to many, he also had a big impact on audiences over the years and was a much loved musician, non-conformist, character and fun person to be around." A decade after Kid Bastien passed away, some of Toronto’s premiere jazz musicians are coming together at Grossman’s Tavern to celebrate the life and music of one of their greatest influences.
