North Carolina Amber Alert Issued for Twin Boys (Donovan & Devin Reed)

Springfield, IL, December 07, 2005 --(PR.com)-- The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a statewide AMBER Alert for 2-year old twin boys from Granville County who were taken from the Department of Social Services by their parents. The Granville County Sheriff's Department made the request for the alert after Byron Joseph Reed and Linda McCotter Reed forcibly removed their children from the custody of Social Services workers. In the process, the father threatened the boys' lives as well as anyone who attempted to recover them.

The boys – Devin and Donovan Reed – are two years old, Caucasian, 31 inches tall and weigh about 25 pounds each. They have blond hair. Devin was last seen wearing a navy blue sweat suit and Donovan was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.

The father, Bryon Reed, is a white male, age 38, 5'11” tall, 250 lbs, with short brown hair, brown eyes, tattoos on his chest, stomach and both arms. The mother, Linda Reed, is a white female, age 35, 5'9” tall, 140 lbs, with dark brown hair and missing a top front tooth.
