Partnership to Fight Pediatric Cancers Formed Between World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation and Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation

World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation joins Rally For Kids with Cancer Foundation and its entertainment industry supporters including Eva Longoria, Goldie Hawn, and Hayden Christiansen, in preparation for the US release of the award-winning feature film Ways To Live Forever, a portion of the proceeds of which will go to benefit further research and assistance for pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Los Angeles, CA, January 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (World Wide) is teaming up with Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation (Rally) to help fight childhood cancers through the 2013, nationwide release of the award-winning film, Ways To Live Forever (www.waystoliveforevermovie.com). This touching and uplifting tale, which is based on the best-selling children’s novel by British author Sally Nicholls, follows a plucky 12-year-old named Sam and his best friend and fellow leukemia patient, Felix, through a series of poignant and sometimes humorous moments as they strive to fulfill their dreams, leave their mark, and make the most of the time that they have.

A portion of proceeds earned will benefit Rally and other cancer-related organizations that have joined forces with World Wide to promote both the picture and its message. Additionally, Scholastic, the publisher of the best-selling book on which the film is based, plans to re-release the original novel both in paperback and as an enhanced eBook in advance of the film’s North American release. A key feature of the enhanced eBook is that it will reference and provide links to related movie clips.

“Since the execution of the first Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup in 2008, our events have raised over $10 million in funds for the charitable organizations we support,” offers Joel Hock Founder of Rally. “This is a testament to what can be done when philanthropic individuals come together with one united vision: the health and well-being of our children.”

Ways To Live Forever stars critically acclaimed actors Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line, The Truth About Cats & Dogs), Greta Scacchi (The Player, Emma), Robbie Kay (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Alex Etel (The Water Horse), Emilia Fox (Pride And Prejudice - BBC), and Ella Purnell (Intruders, Never Let Me Go). The film has garnered awards from around the world, including the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival’s Adult Jury Prize, Best Picture at the Bordeaux International Festival of Women in Cinema, the Heartland Film Festival Audience Award, and Best Feature Film from the European Children’s Film Association.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation and its supporters in an effort to achieve our mutual goals,” offers Paul D. Hancock, President and CEO of World Wide. “Through the promotion of Ways To Live Forever, we will strive to help fund a cure for pediatric cancers and help families affected by the illness of a child,” Hancock added.
