)-- Alaris Labs, a vendor of solutions for telecom carriers, sums up the year 2012 results. The year proved to be the most successful in the company history. Due to rapid development of Alaris Labs main product Alaris inVoice the company doubled its customer base. A new product Alaris SMS Platform was released in the year 2012.
The company ability to deploy the most innovative approaches in its products put Alaris inVoice platform onto the TOP-10 of the most effective and recommended billing systems in its class. Throughout the year a new rate plan generation, CDR reconciliation, system health monitoring and client portal modules were added to the existing functionality of the product. The new versions of these modules were introduced to support national peculiarities of the new countries Alaris Labs penetrated into. LRN-numbers and jurisdiction based routing helped the company to offer its product in North America; to be able to offer its product in Bangladesh the company had to meet the requirement of BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Authority). Active sales in the Asian market allowed the company to more than double its client base.
One of the key events in the company life in 2012 was the launch of a new product — Alaris SMS Platform. This product being a combination of Alaris inVoice billing and routing system with a new SMS switching core allowed traditional voice transit carriers to start new SMS traffic related business. By today the Alaris SMS Platform is running at a few international carriers, including the developer of the well-known mobile application Viber. Among the nearest future plans of the company is the launch of a new product — mobile/local number portability server aimed at simplifying integration of a carrier into the nation-wide LNP/MNP network.
At the end of 2012 the company initiated a customer survey, which showed that Alaris Labs products are recognized for their wide set of functionality and ease of use. The most important modules were named: rate management tools, traffic analysis tools, automated routing.
