Poetic Jamaican Rhythms: Reflections from the Heart Published by Outskirts Press

Outskirts Press announces the latest highly anticipated inspirational and religious poetry from Margate, FL, author Jan Codling.

Margate, FL, January 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Reflections from the Heart: A Collection of Poetic, Idiomatic & Colloquial Expressions by Jan Codling. The author's most recent book to date is a 6 x 9 paperback in the inspirational and religious poetry category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/jansreflectionsfromtheheart was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

Reflections from the Heart is a collection of reflective poems. They are either tribute to places the author has visited or reflections of a particular moment/period in her life. The idiomatic and colloquial expressions are a mixture of American and Jamaican expressions which she finds fascinating and seem to express things in a manner that formal English does not capture.

Writing has proved to be a cathartic exercise for Jan and each time a major development occurs within her life, the most convenient way of expressing her fears, her happiness, her joy and whatever else ails, proves to be penning her thoughts. Since sharing her innermost feelings with another human being does not come close to revealing the depth of her feelings, therefore, her pen and her keyboard do the listening and talking.

50 pages in length, Reflections from the Heart: A Collection of Poetic, Idiomatic & Colloquial Expressions is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the inspirational and religious poetry category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Reflections from the Heart meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $11.95.

Additionally, Reflections from the Heart can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
