Jewelry Designer Opens Gallery in The Mercato

Fort Myers, FL, February 01, 2013 --( And is Rockin’ a Giveaway of Gemstones This Season.

Next time you’re visiting an art gallery, a restaurant, a shop or another destination in Naples, or simply strolling down the avenue, keep an eye out for a distinctively decorated “Mark Loren rock” and you could be a lucky winner of a precious or semi-precious gemstone from Mark Loren Designs’ newly opened gallery at The Mercato, 9118 Strada Place, Ste. 8120, next to the Silverspot Movie Theater, in Naples.

The Mark Loren Rocks campaign will feature “Loren Rocks” strategically placed throughout the highly trafficked Naples destinations and hangouts through the winter and spring season. If you spot a rock, pick it up and bring it to Loren’s gallery where you’ll trade the Loren rock for your choice of a rock, a precious or semi-precious gemstone (up to a value of $250) such as a sapphire, ruby, hematite, agate and more. Or, the value can also be used toward an appraisal, a custom design, or a repair.

Mark Loren is known in his industry for his rare and unique gemstones that he has garnered from throughout the world, as well as the contemporary jewelry designs he and his team create as custom and one-of-a-kind to show off the traits of these special stones.

“We are hiding rocks around sweet spots in Naples to introduce ourselves to the Naples community,” said Mark Loren. “We offer such unique designs, appraisals, and custom work, so we wanted to introduce ourselves in a unique way to get people talking about us. Plus, who doesn’t love to find something of value?”
