DarkBrain Comics Announces Major Changes for 2013

Adult comics website announces changes to pricing structure and release schedule.

Hawley, PA, February 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- As of April 1, 2013, all of DarkBrain titles will only be available for single-issue purchase, Andrew Zar announced today. Since the adult comic website launched in 2010, DarkBrain has explored a wide variety of stories in various genres and purchasing models, settling on a membership model for the past two years. For one annual fee, members received unlimited access to all content published on the website. With the new model, readers will have the option to download stories directly from the DarkBrain website based on their individual interest without the long- term commitment.

Zar, the publisher of DarkBrain Comics and the creator of the stories DarkBrain publishes also announced that beginning in June of 2013, DarkBrain will be focusing on their Ascension Line of 4 comics with interconnected storylines and characters: Mirror/Mirror, Church of Two, The Witches Three and Rashida's Ascension. The publisher will begin with the long-awaited continuation of fan-favorite Mirror/Mirror. Mirror/Mirror's second story ("REBIRTH") will be told in its entirety in monthly installments. Then the Ascension storyline will continue in Church of Two and the other Ascension comics with each title participating in telling one larger story.

In addition to the Ascension storyline, DarkBrain will continue to publish the popular quarterly anthology, DB Quarterly. The 12-issue series has brought great success to the website and features the regular stories of Pissy Pussy, Brandi the Bandit, The Butcher and Sortan-Valta. DarkBrain also has a new sci-fi title Envoy 82 scheduled for May 15, 2013.

Visitors to the DarkBrain website can expect downloads to cost $0.99 to $9.99 depending on page counts and number of stories contained within each book. The store within the DarkBrain website accepts all major credit cards and Paypal. Although memberships will no longer be sold as of April 1, 2013, all existing memberships will be honored through their expiration date.
