Coastal Historic Site to Host Digital Photography Workshop

Fort King George Historic Site in Darien, Georgia will host a one-day digital photography workshop on March 2, 2013. Join Saint Marys photographer Jackie DeBusk to learn how to move from automatic snapshots to creative photographs.

Darien, GA, February 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- First Fun Saturday on March 2, 2013 brings a digital photography workshop to Fort King George Historic Site in Darien, Georgia. Participants will learn how to take their SLR and prosumer cameras off auto and begin to creatively apply exposure, metering, and white balance settings, as well as learn about focus area, histograms, and principles of sound composition.

The workshop fee is $20 payable to the instructor ahead of time or at the door. The presentation begins at 10 a.m. in the theater, includes hands-on activities, and concludes at 4 p.m. after a practice shoot in the park. The workshop is limited to 25, pre-registration is recommended. A portion of the fee goes to the park, so no additional park fees will be taken.
