)-- From Alabama to LA, the skills needed to make it in the fashion and entertainment industry can be discovered right here at the one-day Modeling and Acting Camp in Winfield, Ala. Set for Sat., March 9th from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. aspiring models and actors get to learn from a seasoned International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) member. Practice how to walk down the runway with pizzazz, sparkle in an interview and dazzle them on stage.
Previous students of the Cameo Model Management camp have gone on to win competitions at IMTA in LA. A 14 and 16-year-old client each received 20 or more callbacks. One accepted an acting scholarship and both were invited back for the Television Pilot Season casting.
Cameo’s modeling and acting camp is beneficial for ages 4 and up. The cost is $99. Location is at the Winfield Community Center, 400 Community Street, Winfield, AL 35594.
Cameo’s corporate philosophy is to improve the lives of young people. A portion of the proceeds from this camp are designated for the Winfield Park and Recreation board.
