Buffalo, NY, August 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second-largest cable television operator, today announced the successful completion of its first year in Buffalo with technical system upgrades and new product launches to point to as highlights. On its first anniversary, Time Warner Cable recounted several major capital investments in the Buffalo division that moved the area forward by about 3 years including repairing aging or damaged cable, significant expansion of the high capacity transport network to accommodate the growth of data products, improved billing statements and procedures, creation of a local network operation center staffed around the clock to provide surveillance needed to anticipate problems, increased training of technicians and total localization of call center operations. All of this investment made it possible for Time Warner Cable to bring several new products to the market this past year such as Digital Video Recording (DVR), HD TV, Road Runner High Speed Internet and most recently, Digital Home Phone.

“Time Warner Cable is pleased that it has accomplished so much in just one short year in the Buffalo Division. Our dedicated team of professionals has worked hard to ensure that we have the best technology, service and products available for our customers,” stated Gordon Harp, Buffalo Division President, Time Warner Cable. “While we did encounter some unexpected challenges like the October storm, we think that it was a great learning experience where we were able to put systems and procedures in place that will make us better prepared to handle such events in the future. One of the key things we learned was that the people who work at Time Warner Cable in Buffalo are dedicated to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers.”

In June, Time Warner Cable began to offer Digital Home Phone Service to the Buffalo market. Home Phone service allows you to call anyone, anytime, anywhere in New York, throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico for one simple monthly price of $39.95. Some features of the phone service that come for free include call waiting, caller ID, 3–way calling, call blocking, voice mail and enhanced 9-11 service.
