New York, NY, February 14, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Luxury and designer kids clothing brand, Estella (http://www.estella-nyc.com/) is closing its New York boutique to focus on developing its in-house collection and its eCommerce business. To mark the event, Estella, located at 493, Sixth Avenue between 12th & 13 streets, is running a 75% discount sale on most of the designer baby & toddler products.
Estella, which has been a part of the Greenwich Village neighborhood since 2002, is the product of husband and wife team, Jean Polsky and Chike Chukwulozie. The Boutique catered to the eclectic Greenwich Village community of fashionistas, artists, celebrities, designers, bankers etc. Seen in Vogue, Elle, NY Times, The Martha Stewart Show, In Style, The Today Show and more, the Boutique became famous for its handpicked designer kids clothing brands from niche labels designed in the US, Italy, Spain, London, Holland and all over the world. After some years into retailing exclusive designer luxury clothing for kids, what reallyalso took off were Estella's in-house lines – the super soft Bamboo layette, Estella Organic Cotton & the Estella Knit Collection.
Co-founder Ms. Polsky said “Estella has been the favorite of the press and the Greenwich Village family for many years and we feel very fortunate to have been embraced by the community and to have had the opportunity to cater to this great neighborhood. However, the journey at the Sixth Avenue store has come to an end. We want to focus more on our branded label, which is already available in over 20 Boutiques nationwide. We want to expand the line and at the same time bring new niche brands to the market. We invite our Greenwich Village community and parents elsewhere who would love to dress their kids in stylish and comfy clothing to join us on the web as we grow the brand and explore new opportunities.”
She further elaborated on the journey ahead: “The web allows us to continue to offer the Greenwich Village neighborhood the luxury & style that it has come to expect from Estella and reach other parents looking for something more than run-of-the-mill clothing for their kids. We will continue to carry the European brands that they love – Album di Famiglia, Bobo Choses, Bon Bon, Kidscase etc but on a bigger platform. We are excited to offer these stylish brands and more to a wider audience, without any physical space limitations. And we will have time to add a woven dress collection, grow the existing Estella Bamboo baby layette and organic collections and collaborate with other designers to bring wonderful things to the baby and toddler clothing world. It’s really quite an exciting endeavor.”
Estella invites its Village community and anyone in Manhattan to come, take advantage of the 75% off sale, join their online community, get another 5% off and enjoy an additional 10% off their first online purchase of new merchandise.
Estella's 75% store closing down sale event will be going on till stocks last. The sale is available in-store and online, no coupon code is required online to avail the 75% off discount.
