Critics Praise Debut from British Prog Rockers Flicker

Neoteric progressive rock band Flicker are receiving critical praise after the January release of their debut album, “How Much Are You Willing to Forget.”

Seaside, OR, February 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- British progressive rock outfit Flicker are quickly gaining praise for their debut effort, "How Much Are You Willing to Forget." Dubbed "Amazing music" by Prog Rock Music Talk, the album was given 5 out of 5 stars and praised for its fresh take on the genre. "The band have produced an extremely interesting debut album which 'Doffs its hat' to bands such as Pink Floyd and early Genesis, while not merely copying them," notes reviewer Jim Lawson. Critics have compared the band's approach to Rush, Porcupine Tree and Edison’s Children, with Miniature Music Press calling Flicker "A treasure to be discovered by the discerning lover of prog rock and beyond." The album, released January 28th, is available on iTunes now.

Promotional CDs, MP3s and interviews with the band are available upon request.
