Pretty Girls Hosts Benefit Concert to Help Animals in Need

Local surf rock trio Pretty Girls have partnered with LUV-A-PET to collect items to help animals in need.

Delray Beach, FL, February 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Adopting a pet from an animal shelter isn't the only way you can make a positive difference for our furry little friends. Just ask Pretty Girls. The up and coming South Florida surf rock sensations have recently partnered with LUV-A-PET - a local animal rescue shelter, to collect donated items such as beds, blankets, treats, toys, puppy pee pads and other items the shelter is in need of to keep the animals happy and healthy.

"Animal rescue shelters don't have the deep pockets that many larger corporations do, so they typically rely on donations to get by," says Brandon Seymour of Pretty Girls. "I enjoy playing music and I also have a soft spot for animals, so it just seemed like a good idea to combine the two."

The event will be held at The Beat Cup Cafe in Delray Beach, FL on Saturday, March 2nd and will include live performances from Pretty Girls and Beach Day. The event starts at 9:0pm and runs until 2:00am.
