Fairfax Station, VA, March 10, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Written by Master Parachutist CPT. Lee A. Kind, Airborne is probably the only book of its kind; an insiders guide to the Army Jumpmaster school. The art of mass parachute drops involves special training and concise coordination to ensure accurate deployment and troop safety; Jumpmasters are the highly trained professionals tasked with making sure this happens.
Author Lee Kind has 95 recorded jumps and 30+ Jumpmaster duties. Lee served over 6 years in the 82nd Airborne Division and successfully trained over 20 officers and non-commissioned officers to become Jumpmasters on their first attempt in a school that normally fails over 50% of the students.
This unique guide gives specific training tips and tricks that will help ensure you get top marks in all phases of Jumpmaster training.
Airborne contains numerous photos and illustrations of the specialized equipment you need to become familiar with, and diagrams of rigging methods / aircraft configurations.
Whether you want to go to Airborne school, Jumpmaster school, or become a better Jumpmaster, this book has in it what every airborne soldier should know and every Jumpmaster must know.
