BBB to Host Annual Golf Tournament for Education

Raleigh, NC, August 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Beverly Baskin, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina, announces today the BBB Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held Monday, October 15 at Devil’s Ridge Golf Course in Holly Springs. All proceeds will benefit the BBB Education Foundation.

“The BBB Education Foundation is a wonderful program that creates opportunities for so many children in our area,” says Baskin. “I hope that our members will come together as participants and sponsors to make the golf tournament our most successful fundraiser to date.”

Funds raised at the tournament will be distributed in three primary areas: student college scholarships, educational seminars and workshops, and The Book Project, a distribution program that provides free books to children.
