New Webzine for Independent Christian Filmmakers

Introducing Faith Flix, a new webzine geared for low budget, independent Christian filmmakers. Behind the scenes look at the world of independent Christian filmmaking.

Nashville, TN, March 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Monday, March 11 marked the launch of Faith Flix, a webzine geared specifically for low budget, independent Christian filmmakers. Created by Fred and Sharon Wilharm of MainStreet Productions, www.faithflix.com provides a behind the scenes look at the world of independent faith-based films. The site is a mix of blogs, resources, and even a calendar of events that includes movie screenings, film festival deadlines, and filmmaking workshops and events. “We wanted to provide a voice for independent filmmakers as well as a one-stop resource for them to find answers to their most common questions,” says Sharon.

The blogs include: Filmmaking Folks - interview with actors, directors, and crew members; Focus on Films - behind the scenes look at the creation process of individual films; Practical Helps - articles related to specific areas of filming on a limited budget; Tech Talk - articles on equipment choices; and Movies in Review.
