Sound Skript Entertainment Will be Premiering Their New Stylish Film Noir Short, "Lady .38," March 26th at Curious Comedy Theatre in Portland, Oregon

Sound Skript Entertainment, out of Portland,Oregon,along with several other local film makers, will be having a showing of their latest films on March 26, 2013. Sound Skript will be premiering their latest endeavor, "Lady .38," a gritty and stylish short film noir. It will be held at Curious Comedy Theatre (5225 NE MLK Av, Portland,OR) at 7:30pm.

Portland, OR, March 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Local Portland independent film company, Sound Skript Entertainment is proud to announce their first public premiere of the short film, Lady .38. A 1940's film noir filmed entirely in Portland and Vancouver is an ambitious endeavor for young filmmakers Philip Delorenzo and Alyssa Roehrenbeck. The Lady .38 premiere will also include other local film talent, with pre-show screenings of several Portland short films including the teaser trailer for Tess The Inventor, The Day They Ran Out of Bullets, Bad Cop Bad Cop, and Funny Thing Is.

Lady .38 follows Veronica Dupree on her quest to find her place as a female detective in the 1940's. After spending years in an unnamed position for the U.S. military during World War II, Veronica Dupree returns home to start a new life as the only female detective in Grand Harbor City. Down to her last dollar, tonight's the night Veronica puts it all on black. Ghosts from the past, muggers, and an enchanting heiress open and close doors as Veronica seeks to find a life outside the military.
