Tourireland.com Launches Gourmet Food Tour with Acclaimed Irish Chef/Restaurateur and Food Writer Clodagh Mckenna

Tourireland.com announces the launch of a new Gourmet Food Tour that has been created with celebrity chef and food writer Clodagh McKenna. The tour will be a self-guided tour based on Clodagh’s Irish Food Trails TV series.

Dublin, Ireland, March 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Food Tourism in Ireland is booming and people both at home and abroad are becoming more aware day by day of the wealth of riches that Ireland can offer in terms of food.

Seeing this gap in the market for an organised food tour, Reservations Manager Liz Aungier approached Clodagh McKenna with the idea and the renowned chef was immediately keen to get on board with Tourireland to work on the project. The tour will be a self-guided tour based on Clodagh’s Irish Food Trails TV series, stopping at the towns and markets she visited and tasting the local produce. The series has been aired widely in the USA and has generated a lot of interest in Irish Food. With another series due to start filming in September 2013 (and airing in 2014) this is set to grow even more.
