Kitchener, Canada, April 04, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- RewardingYourself, developed by LoyaltyMatch Inc., is one of three finalists for the 2013 BlackBerry Achievement Award in the “Putting Customers First” category. A total of 15 apps that best demonstrated the most innovative use of BlackBerry technology were selected from 70,000 around the globe.
The RewardingYourself Loyalty Wallet is a free app that combines loyalty functionality with shopping functionality to help customers manage, synch up, store and maximize all their loyalty rewards. This app checks whether it's better to use loyalty points or buy an item with cash. It can also check inventory, compare prices at other stores, and after taking a picture of a product's barcode, see if the item can be purchased with points. The app is also integrated with BlackBerry® Maps and BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™) and is powered by the LoyaltyMatch OnDemand Loyalty and Gamification SaaS platform. It is available through Blackberry App World. Shoppers who are not members of a loyalty program will still find the app useful for comparing cash prices.
“During the past year more than 300,000 products have been searched for using our app. To have it nominated is an honor, but not enough. We want to win so more people will know it’s out there to help them,” said President and CEO of LoyaltyMatch Inc. and co-creator of the app, Brad Ball. “We hope that everyone who uses RewardingYourself will go to the BlackBerry Live page (http://bit.ly/16kZbUL) to vote,” he added.
The BlackBerry Achievement Awards will be presented on May 15 during the BlackBerry LiveTM Conference in Orlando, Florida, May 14-16.
