Monrovia, CA, April 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Gregory Bonfiglio from Proteus Venture Partners, will give a presentation on “Funding for Regenerative Medicine Technologies: Opportunities And Challenges” at the Stem Cell Summit 2013 (Apr 29-30, 2013 in Boston, MA).

Greg Bonfiglio is a Managing Partner of Proteus Ventures and Chair of the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM). He will explore the significant opportunities and challenges in commercializing stem cell research and its applications to treat disease from a technical, financial, intellectual property and reimbursement perspective – keeping stem cell technology and therapeutics in context relative to other technology sectors.

Mr. Bonfiglio is the Founder & Managing Partner of Proteus, LLC – an investment and advisory firm focused solely on Regenerative Medicine. Mr. Bonfiglio was an early investor in the field of regenerative medicine. He is on the Boards of California Stem Cell (a company specializing in hESC tools and therapeutics), and StemCyte, Inc. (a company specializing in cord blood storage and therapeutics). He also is the Chairman of the Board of the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (a Regeneratice Medicine Translation Center in Toronto, Canada), and is Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Regenerative Medicine Coalition.
