Mr. Shailendra Singh Rao, Founder Director & Operational Head of Envarrior Consulting Services, said that 70% of India’s population lives in rural areas in approximately 6 Lakh villages. After independence, efforts are made to connect every village with grid power. Villages need electricity for lighting, due to geographical and cost considerations a still sizable percent of villages are having ample facility of street lights. Needless to say that substantial funds are needed to maintain the lines. To overcome such situation it is proposed to use the Solar powered CFL/LED Lighting systems.
In Partnership with the Corporate sector, "Akshay Urja - Graam Sumrudhi" Project, is a concept designed by Envarrior Consulting service, for providing & creating awareness by showing its use of Solar energy to the people residing till last mile. Envarrior wants to develop, showcase and implement technologies and processes of comprehensive development of the rural and underdeveloped communities in India, and as a part of those processes Company has partnered with the Privately held organizations to Install Over 50,000 Solar Street Lights across Indian villages by Year 2020 in this multi phase project.
