Canine Kindergarten Hosts a Fun Night to Benefit the Magic Bullet Fund

Verplanck, NY, April 17, 2013 --( Canine Kindergarten, a dog daycare and boarding facility, will be hosting “Canine Connections to Fight Canine Cancer,” a fundraising event to benefit the Magic Bullet Fund. Veterinarians from the Yorktown Animal Hospital will be in attendance to offer advice to dog owners, and Laurie Kaplan, founder of the Magic Bullet Fund, will provide information about preventing and detecting canine cancer. This event will occur on Friday, April 19th from 6pm – 8pm at Canine Kindergarten, located at 260 6th Street, Verplanck, NY 10596.

The theme of the night is “Canine Connections”, and “Speed Dating” for dogs will be the light-hearted focus. In addition, fun games for dogs and contests will entertain the crowd.

Raffles will include prizes from the Birdsall House restaurant, Gleason’s restaurant, Pilates on Hudson, Cortlandt Chiropractic and dog trainer Holly Santana. Canine Kindergarten will also offer prizes to win including daycare and boarding packages.

About the Magic Bullet Fund:
The Magic Bullet Fund provides financial assistance to people who have a dog with cancer but cannot afford treatment.
