eSoft Adds 12 New Partners to Combat Cyber Attacks Against Business

Denver, CO, April 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cyber attacks against small and medium businesses at all time high.

While high-profile cyber attacks against governments, large banks and businesses have made headlines in recent months, small and medium size businesses are now also attractive targets of cyber thieves. The frequency and sophistication of online attacks against business continues to increase. More attacks are surgically concise and invisible, ever-changing and pervasive. They're very hard to detect, and even when detected, they're hard to contain.

The financial stakes of cyber attacks on business are enormous. The "2012 Cost of Cyber Crime Study," which was released by the Ponemon Institute reported that successful cyber attacks against U.S. businesses have increased by 42% since last year. An overwhelming 79% percent of companies experienced Web-borne attacks in 2012.

FCC reports the average annual cost of cyber attacks on small and medium size businesses was $188,242. Unlike a large company, small businesses may not be able to survive a cyber attack.

Protecting against Web-borne malware should be a high priority for all organizations since once inside a network, the propagation of malware can take down the entire company, effectively disabling an organization

To help businesses protect themselves from the threats of cyber attacks, eSoft, an international company who specializes in network cybersecurity security for small and medium (SMB) businesses, has announced that they have added 11 new partner companies during the first quarter of 2013.

Scott Wise, eSoft’s Director of Global Sales stated, “We are proud of our Q1 dealer growth. These new partners are well established IT specialists across the nation. We are also pleased to add two more international partners.”
