Farid Nobari Hired to Lead Sacramento Expansion for SC Solutions

An expanding portfolio of structural engineering and seismic consulting work from California transportation government agencies led to the opening of a Sacramento office.

Sacramento, CA, April 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Farid Nobari recently joined the SC Solutions team as Engineering Manager and Head of Sacramento Operations, announced Alex Krimotat, VP of Structural Engineering Division.

“We are excited to have Farid on board. With our clientele including many California government agencies, such as Caltrans, California High Speed Rail Authority and others, we saw Sacramento as a natural area of expansion and a way to address our constant desire to improve our service to our clients,” said Krimotat.

“We look to Farid to provide the high-level expertise required to service our growing roster of clients, the in-depth technical knowledge and skill needed to lead our highly sophisticated projects and the leadership to successfully grow the new Sacramento office,” said Krimotat. “We’ve known and worked with Farid for years and he’s a natural fit for our next level of growth,” he added.

Nobari comes to SC Solutions from CH2M HILL, where he served as Vice President and Project Manager. As such, Nobari provided oversight for the production of engineering reports, plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E), directed construction engineering and design-build support tasks, developed project-specific design criteria and technical reports, and presented project findings to regulatory agencies with emphasis on state-of-the-art seismic evaluation and design.

Nobari’s 25 years of engineering and management experience includes multi-disciplinary highway and railway projects involving feasibility studies, state and federal environmental analyses and compliance, and geotechnical, hydraulic, civil and structural analyses and design.

Nobari has a M.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural) from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural and Geotechnical) from the University of Wisconsin.

An open house for the new Sacramento office is planned and details will be announced shortly.
