Philadelphia Diamonds Begin Play in Bikini Basketball Association June 29

Philadelphia, PA, May 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Philadelphia Diamonds are set to begin the 2013 Bikini Basketball Association (BBA) campaign this June after months of preparation.

The inaugural season of the BBA will pit the Philadelphia women against teams from all over the United States. Philadelphia will host its four home games at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory, located at 2700 Southampton Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

The Diamonds have made quick progress with sponsors for the season, having garnered interest from a major national apparel brand as well as one of Philadelphia's most popular sports-themed bars, both for season-long sponsorships. The team aims to attract more sponsors in the coming weeks.

"Sponsorship is key. There are a lot of different things we can do for the team, but we need the sponsorship dollars to make this a better product for the fans," team president Alfred Trotter said.

Available items for sponsorship include court floor logos, sideline banner logos/ads, hi-def video projection ads, season tickets, vendor tables, game night program ads, team public appearances and many more. In-game promotions are also available for sponsors, such as halftime, timeout, promotional giveaways and dance team sponsors.

The Diamonds' eight-game team schedule is as follows:

Aug. 3rd @ Houston Inferno
